Today I must admit that I am encouraged in the Lord and I wish that You who is reading this right now be encouraged as well in Jesus Name. 🙏
Have you been rejected? It is time to encourage yourself…
Have you been rejected, dejected, castigated, despised, ignored, abandoned, undermined or written off by people?
Everyone at some point in life have faced rejection and failure, it is part of the progress to self realisation. No one is a stranger to rejection, and no one is immune to it either, even if you may not admit it publicly, rejection probably makes it to your list of top 10 fears. Most fears of rejection rest on the desire for approval from other people. Rejection can disappoint you, depress you and may even stop you in your tracks… learn not to take rejection so personally… if you are honest with yourself and believe in your work, others will too. There’s no point in dwelling on rejection. Don’t base your self esteem on other people’s opinions. If you live for people’s acceptance, you will die of their rejection. Often you think when you are rejected that you are not good enough, but the truth is that they weren’t ready for all you have to offer. Don’t be upset when people reject you; nice things are rejected all the time by people who can’t afford them. A rejcetion is nothing more than a necessary step in the pursuit of success. It is a challenge. It should motivate you to keep trying and to try to do better. Rejection gives you more power to push forward. I think all great innovations are built on rejections.
When a door closes, you can feel like all other doors have closed. A rejection letter can feel like everyone will reject us. But a closed door leads to clarity. It’s really an arrow. Because we cannot go through that door, we will go through somwhwere else. That somewhere else is your true life. The biggest hurdle is rejection. Any business you start, be ready for it. The difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is that successful people do all the things that unsuccessful people don’t want to do. When 10 doors are slammed in your face, go to door number 11 enthusiastically, with a smile on your face. Rejection puts you out of your comfort zone which is usually when you are at your best. Coping with rejection is an important skill to learn and understand when navigating the Art World. Rejection and disinterest is the rule, not the exception. Success is buried on the other side of rejection. When someone says ‘NO’ to you, what they are really saying is is ‘Give me more information so I can say YES!’ and sometimes NO means Next Opportunity. If you fail never give up because FAIL means First Attempt In Learning. End is not the end, because END means Effort Never Ends. Human rejection can be God’s devine protection. The stone that the builders rejected has become the chief corner stone. Greatness also means your ability to dance without an applause. When you are rejected It’s an indication that you will soon be the Chief Cornerstone. Everytime you thought you are being rejected from something good, you will actually be re-directed to something better. Sometimes when we keep struggling with the closed door we will not be able to see the new and better doors that God has open for us.
Joesph was rejected, dejected and sold by his brothers, but after a period of time, he bacame a Prime Minister, his brothers returned, bowed before him and he saved them from famine. They meant it for evil but God turned it for good. Jephtah was rejected by his household, after a period of time, they went back to him and made him their Leader; he won a terrific battle for them. Jesus was rejected, despised, stoned and crucified but he later bacame the Savior of the World. When men mock you, God will make you. When men reject and deject you, God will select and protect you. Today you may be rejected, tomorrow you will be accepted. Men may abandon you but God cannot because He has no abandoned project. Men may write you off, but God will never leave you nor forsake you. Those who look down on you today will look up to you tomorrow. Don’t give up. Press on. Encourage yourself.
God Bless You.
